YOGA FOR HEALING.

MOVEMENT AS MEDITATION.

“Yoga is the journey
of the self,
through the self,
to the self.”

- Bhagavad Gita.

Yoga is the language of the soul,
spoken through movement of the body.

Yoga asana refers to the physical postures of yoga — the shapes we create with the body to build strength, balance, and flexibility while calming the mind. It’s what most people imagine when they hear the word ‘yoga’.

But asana is far more than exercise. It is a moving meditation, uniting breath with movement and opening space for awareness to arise. On the mat, every posture becomes a rehearsal for life: each time we meet challenge or discomfort, we practice meeting it with presence.

Yoga is not an escape from life, but a way of living more fully awake within it. Asana acts as a mirror, reflecting where we hold tension and resistance, and revealing where we can soften into freedom.

When practiced with awareness, asana quiets the fluctuations of the mind by anchoring us in the body. The posture comes alive when breath and presence are woven into it — meditation in motion.

Through consistent practice, yoga asana not only nourishes the body but also prepares us for deeper states of stillness, self-inquiry, and connection. This is the heart of yoga: a practice that prepares us for meditation and for life itself.

“Yoga does not just change the way we see things,
it transforms the person who sees.”

VINYASA YOGA.

Vinyasa yoga feels like a dance between your breath and body, where each inhale and exhale carries you effortlessly from one posture to the next.

The flow creates a rhythm that grounds you in the present moment, building heat, energy, and strength while also inviting a sense of ease and release.

Practicing Vinyasa is like stepping into a moving meditation — fluid, alive, and deeply connected.

YIN YOGA.

Yin yoga is a slow, meditative practice where postures are held for several minutes, allowing the body to soften and release deeply held tension.

Rooted in the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Yin works with the meridian system — the energetic pathways that support balance and vitality — to restore harmony within the body.

The key to yin is to let go of effort, gently surrendering into each shape, creating space in the fascia and nourishing the joints, while calming the nervous system.

The stillness of Yin invites you inward, offering a quiet meeting place with yourself — spacious, grounding, and deeply restorative.

Vinyasa YOGA IS ROOTED IN the Hatha Yoga TRADITION.

The word ‘Hatha’ is all about balance:
‘Ha’ refers to the sun and ‘tha’ refers to the moon.

Hatha yoga is the science of bringing balance to these two opposing forces that live within every person.

Every yoga pose is about mastering the balance of these equal and opposite forces of energy, to harmonise the energy within the system.

By consciously positioning the body in different postures, we prepare the system to elevate consciousness through meditation, the ultimate purpose of yoga.

YOGA FOR THE
MIND, BODY & SPIRIT.

Yoga is more than just physical postures and exercise.

Ancient yogi master Patanjali identified Eight Limbs of Yoga to be practiced, offering a holistic path to healing that moves beyond the physical asana.

Together, they remind us that yoga is not just movement on the mat, but a way of living with presence, balance, and harmony.

YOUR BODY KNOWS THE WAY TO HEAL & RESTORE BALANCE.

During energy healing sessions people’s bodies innately move into yoga postures like child’s pose or downward facing dog, even without ever having practiced yoga before.

These healing shapes are encoded within our DNA.

When you release control of the mind, the body moves with its own healing intelligence, moving in the way that it already knows deep within to restore wellness.
