Is there free parking?

Yes, there is plenty of free 2hr parking in Oak Grove, off Hotham Street.

What should I wear?

It’s best to wear comfortable exercise gear that you can move in and layers in case you get hot or cold during the session.

IS THERE ANYTHING I SHOULDN’T DO BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT?

It’s best to do this work on an empty stomach as you may move during the session. Please don’t eat a meal for at least 2 hours beforehand. A light snack is fine.

Please don’t consume any drugs or alcohol in the lead up to your appointment, at least 24 hours.

Do I need to bring anything?

You don’t need to bring anything to a private one-on-one session, everything is provided.

For an event you might like to bring a journal, pen and bottle of water. If there is a need for anything else this will be communicated to you before the event.

Do I need any prior experience with yoga or SOMATICS?

No, this work suits people of all levels, you just need an open mind and patience to commit to the journey and allow the body time to feel safe and gently unfold.

Do you offer online or in-person sessions?

I offer both in-person sessions in Ripponlea, in Melbourne’s Bayside area (near St Kilda) and virtual sessions hosted on Zoom.

Virtual sessions are just as powerful and some people even prefer being in the comfort of their own home. Energy is not limited by time and space so we don’t need to be in the same room for you to get the benefits of this work.

How many sessions will I need to notice a difference?

This varies from person to person but I do recommend committing to at least 6 sessions to start to see real transformation take place.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes, I offer discounted rates when you commit to your healing journey and buy 3, 6 or 10 session packs. Check out packages by scrolling down to the bottom of the booking page.

I have a health condition or injury. Is this work suitable?

Please check our disclaimers page for a list of contraindications. Due to the physical and emotional nature of this work I am not able to treat people with certain health conditions. If you have any concerns, please check with your doctor for advice before booking.

Is this a trauma-informed practice?

Yes, this work is suitable for people who have experienced significant trauma. It is my main aim to make you feel safe in our work together as we slowly begin to release trauma energy from the body.

WILL I BE emotional during a session?

Emotions often come up for processing and release during a session but you may not get a story as to what it relates back to as this is not a mental process, but a somatic one, releasing through the body. We will work on building up your tolerance to experience strong emotions.

What if I feel overwhelmed DURING A SESSION?

If you feel overwhelmed, please let me know and we will ground your body and calm your nervous system. It is my aim to go slowly so as not to overwhelm the system or move outside your window of tolerance.

Is everything I share confidential?

Yes, the information you share will stay private.

What is your cancellation policy?

Private sessions can be cancelled or rescheduled up to 72-hours before the scheduled appointment.

Events have a no refund policy once booked.
