BREATHWORK.

Conscious breath.
conscious life.

“BREATHE IN DEEPLY to bring your mind home to your body.”

- Thich Nhat Hanh, Buddhist monk.

Regulating Breathwork for Anxiety, Stress & Nervous System Support.

We breathe all day, every day, but you may not have given your breathing much thought or attention.

The breath is the one function of the body that can be both automatic and consciously controlled. When you learn to master the breath, you have a tool that you can access at any time to self-regulate. When you learn to work with it intentionally, you gain the ability to shift your own state, your mood, your thoughts.

Shallow, dysregulated breathing is both a symptom and a driver of stress and anxiety. When the breath slows and deepens, safety signals travel through the body — calming the nervous system, lowering cortisol, and bringing you back into the present moment.

I teach regulating breathwork tools within sessions that you can take home and practice in your day-to-day life. Drawing on Buteyko breath retraining, therapeutic breathing, and yogic pranayama, these tools become part of your personal toolkit for managing anxiety, stress, and supporting integration between sessions.

Breakthrough Breathwork for Trauma Release & Deep Transformation.

Some healing can't be reached through words alone. Breakthrough breathwork works beneath the level of thought, bypassing the analytical mind to access what the body has been holding — sometimes for years. For those who find it difficult to quiet the mind or drop into stillness, breathwork offers a direct and accessible way in.

By softening mental chatter and awakening bodily awareness, the breath allows you to feel sensations and emotions more fully as energy begins to shift. Using activating conscious breathing techniques, the breath creates the conditions for profound emotional release, expanded states of awareness, and deep energetic shifts. What has been stored — grief, anger, fear, old trauma — is given a pathway out.

Breathwork can be particularly powerful for those who feel stuck in repeating emotional patterns, carry unresolved trauma, or sense something deeper asking to be released. What follows is often a lightness, clarity, and reconnection with yourself that is difficult to access any other way.

We will build up to breakthrough breathwork in sessions, ensuring that your nervous system is supported beforehand and you have learned tools to aid integration between sessions.

Healing Through the Power of CONSCIOUS BREATHING.

I am grateful to have completed my breathwork training with Johannes Egberts, Australia’s leading breathwork and cold-water immersion coach and founder of Breathless Expeditions.

This training was powerfully transformative and deeply backed by science, covering:

  • The Wim Hof method

  • Holotropic Breathwork

  • Conscious Connected Breathing

  • Rebirthing Breathwork

  • Shamanic Breathwork

  • Buteyko Breath Retraining

  • Therapeutic Breathing

I am qualified to facilitate Breathless Breakthrough Breathwork sessions.

This training built on my own embodied practice of advanced yogic breathwork techniques as a qualified yoga teacher.

I always recommend being guided by a qualified breathwork instructor, especially when you’re new to the practice of breathwork.

The Ancient Wisdom & BENEFITS of Breathwork.

For thousands of years, ancient traditions have understood the profound power of the breath. Yogis, Buddhists, Shamans, and Healers from around the world all practiced breathwork as a way to access deeper states of awareness, connect with spirit, and restore balance in the body and mind.

The breath is more than just a physical function—it is our direct link to our life-force energy, the vital current that animates us. In Chinese Traditional Medicine, it’s referred to as ‘chi' or ‘qi’. In the yogic tradition, we call it ‘prana’ and practice ‘Pranayama’ breath control techniques.

Breathing is the bridge that unites your body, mind, and heart, and is the key to living with presence and consciousness.

What to expect in a breathwork healing session.

Every breathwork healing journey is unique, and whatever arises is welcome.

You may notice some of the following — all normal signs that something is moving and shifting:

  • Physical sensations — tingling, buzzing, or warmth in the hands, face, or body; trembling or shaking; heaviness of the body, ‘frozen’ (tetany) hands or mouth.

  • Emotional release — unexpected waves of grief, joy, anger, or deep relief; a sense of something long-held finally letting go.

  • Sounds and movement — spontaneous sighing, crying, laughing, or vocalising; the body finding its own way to release.

  • Altered states — vivid colours or imagery, deep meditative stillness, sudden clarity or insight, or moments of pure euphoria and connectedness.

You are held and supported throughout. There is nothing you need to do, fix, or manage — simply breathe, and trust that your body knows the way.
